Dario Lorina
Dario Lorina began his professional career in 2006 at age 16 as the touring guitarist with the late Jani Lane (ex-Warrant). At age 19, he joined veteran metal act Lizzy Borden (Metal Blade Records) whom he toured with for 4 years. Dario released two instrumental records with Mike Varney on Shrapnel Records titled "Dario Lorina" and "Death Grip Tribulations" in 2013 and 2017. January 1st, 2014 he joined Black Label Society and has since been touring worldwide with BLS and Zakk Wylde. He performed on Black Label Society's 2022 release Doom Crew Inc and joined Zakk Wylde on the January 2022 cover of Guitar World Magazine. Dark Chapel, assembled in 2024, fronted by guitarist/singer Dario Lorina (Black Label Society), blends precise guitar work, sludgy grooves, melodic hooks with bluesy touches and grunge allure. Dark Chapel’s 2025 debut LP "Spirit in the Glass", balancing heavy, ethereal, and passionate elements is out now on MNRK Heavy. The album’s first single, “Glass Heart,” combines gritty vocals and searing riffs, while “Hollow Smile” explores internal battles with thrash- inspired rhythms. Other tracks like “Corpse Flower” evoke gothic imagery, and “Dead Weight” delivers emotional blues. “All That Remains” pays tribute to a lost friend, and “Bullet In Our Chamber” channels Bukowski’s idea of being consumed by passion. Dark Chapel's debut captivates with raw emotion and dynamic storytelling.
